Looking at it, I think the groynes should curve slightly more inwards. Thoughts?

Some gorgeous hues again Marjorie great foreground and figures plus lovely sky and composition

Very interesting thought Marjorie as there is a tension and dynamic between them and the figures i call the dog a figure which I feel would be disrupted by the move me I would leave it

I think it looks good as it is Marjorie, a very nice painting with very believable wet sand.

This is lovely so subtle and restful. Very appealing !!

Very atmospheric with great depth and space in it. Well done, Marjorie.

I love the feel of this!

Waves, wet sand and wet dog. What’s not to like. Beautiful.

Yes, I love the beach..wet dogs, the lot! Thanks, Margaret, Audrey, Mia, Skylar and Ellen. It was too cold to go today tho'

That looks like a very naughty sea Marjorie! Don’t think it needs anything different, super knife work.

Just love it, very atmospheric, wonderful reflections.

Lovely scene Marjorie, beautiful colours and love the figures and their reflection in the sand

lovely Marjorie , I particularly like how the beach looks so wet , beautiful .

Marjorie, just had the dates for 2018 spring fling 26-28 May.

Sandra, Fiona, David, Dennis - appreciate those comments, thankyou!

You've got the wet beach perfectly, I particularly like the waves, and the slightly ghostly images of the man and his dog. The whole picture works well.

Marvellous colours of the sea and sand Marjorie! Lovely open space and cool air. The only thing that I would perhaps change is the length of the posts. If you take away the last three in the distance it would let the water flow better and the eye would rest more on the figures. What do you think?

You've really caught the feeling of a winters day on the beach and I like the way you have no detail in the figures and have made them slightly blurred. I agree with Dennis about the groynes, perfect as it is.

Satu, I was thinking of taking the length of the groynes back a touch and suggesting a flow of water towards the dog. I can judge it better when I look at it thumbnail. Thanks Lewis and Val - and Satu of course.

It’s all been said. Change or another version perhaps? Super colouring Marjorie as always.

Brimming with vitality and atmosphere. A lovely piece, Marjorie!

I love these scenes of never-ending wet sand and horizon. Great choice of colours too Marjorie.

Thanks John, will use knife again soon ( hope this isn't taken out of context! )Thankyou Seok and Gudrun ( maybe take a little away ). Ibolya and Maureen, many thanks!

Lovely palette knife work, and great composition, ...looks great! Marjorie, you don't need to change a thing!

Thanks Chandra - you know what it's like with your own work, never really satisfied.
