Quick oil sketch

Lovely image and the painting is looking great Marjorie bet there was no party going on

Well, Dennis, there was coffee and chocolate on the go, supplied by my trusty porter aka he who will obey.

Being mistaken for Monet is no bad thing me thinks!

So nice to be able to see the view and the painting.

I get so annoyed at that spell check! Let's try again...."en plein air".....that's better!

This is looking great already Marjorie, hope the rain stayed away and you got it finished...........look forward to seeing it!

It's looking very good, Marjorie and good for you for getting out there to paint. I am way too lazy and should make more effort I think!

Good idea to show us both Marjorie, the painting looks smashing what we can see of it. Good on you for being there on the spot. We all should do more of that and don't be afraid.

Good bones, Marjorie, can't wait to see the final piece!

Oh the pressure, the pressure! I'm having a day off....

Great photo Marjorie, look forward to your finished painting.

Hang on Studio Wall

Rain stopped play today so back tomorrow to work "en plain air". The poppies further up the field are spectacular but I must show restraint or everyone will think it's a Monet!??
