Really lovely Marjorie. I have enjoyed seeing its progress on the Forum, wonderful final result.

I like this composition, great depth achieved, not easy I guess with all the greens. Well done

Lovely result Marjorie. Having seen it as WIP I think it’s worked out really well. I love the two pink thingamyjigs! At the front which give it depth, and the netting is great. A complicated subject nicely done.

A truly delightful ' painterly ' impression Marjorie, excellent work.

A great result Marjorie, I love the way you have painted the closh....super depth too.

Beautiful view, Margaret, I like the soft colours and the foreground.

Great result, Marjorie, with the spirit and pleasure of the allotment plain for all to see. The foreground details are an excellent touch and really do make a difference. I thought as much when you first introduced them in WIP. I absolutely love the cloche btw. BUT! Where's the kittiwake? *lol* Bri

Your lovely painting has turned out so well Marjorie, the greens are great. I like the way your colours always seem so soft and just right.

Super work, Marjorie, and marvelous progression back to the buildings. Love it.

Such a painterly feel to this, love it, Marjorie, you've really caught the allotment atmosphere! So much detail hinted at and not overworked. Gorgeous!

Lots of lovely soft greens well broken up with shading in between the rows of veg, it also has the feeling of great depth, really well painted 😀

such lovely, kind comments - thankyou all very much. I felt that I was blundering about when I painted this! If I did something similar again, I think I would choose a square format and concentrate on one area. Thanks again everyone.

love the balanced composition Marjorie your control over greens is excellent and beautiful aerial perspective .It looks like early morning .in a word superb!

The way you have used the colour has given this piece real depth Marjorie.

Thanks a lot David and John.

A beautiful composition of gardens in their prime, Marjorie. You've created a wonderful sense of place!

Thankyou Wib. Our village still has a few traditional things going on ( despite holiday homes!!!) We had the annual village show today, though we ourselves didn't enter any veg or art. But we have had a great crop of raspberries this year!

Really like this. interesting detail and mood
