In case you're wondering, Ted used Frogtape to create his straight lines. To speed up drying I used Alkyd White and thinner and I think this has dulled the surface and lost some sharpness .

A great idea Marjorie, as I said before. Rather splendid work as always.

Good work Marjorie, but I wonder how the easel can stand out with only two legs.

Oops Cesare! Le cose che non si vede!😳

A great composition Marjorie, this looks super. I don't know if you have added a leg to the easel but I do see one at the back! Made me smile though.

I did add the extra leg Margaret - made me laugh too!

Great painting Marjorie, well observed, apart from the missing leg of course!

It looks wonderful, Marjorie, now that you've finished. Not that it wasn't good before. Very inventive study of a man at work. Great concentration on the artist. Bri

Good one Marjorie, what did Ted say to it?

Thanks Russell, Brian and Fiona. I've yet to show it to Ted.

Artistic licence is a wonderful invention -the painting 'stands up' very well. Nice to meet you at Saturday's Exhibition

And you Willie. It's a very good exhibition, hope you sell a few!

Oil on MDF. Ted came to do a demo at our club. Our project is "interiors" so I turned the tables on him.
