Horizon doesn't look straight - bad photo.

This is so fresh and lovely Marjorie, really superb and tranquil. You should have a facility to straighten your pics when you are editing and cropping etc.

Excellent portrayal of light and colour Marjorie another beauty

Gorgeous Marjorie. You can now re-load picture without deleting this so you could try and straighten it ...

Beautiful, there is a lovely sparkle on the water, such a soft painting Marjorie.

Love the sky Marjorie, I must admit to have always looked at sky's first. Really like the colour and movement in the foreground grasses

Gudrun- thank you! It's been edited, I didn't know I could do that!

Soft, summery and absolutely gorgeous Marjorie. Love the palette.

Well done Marjorie, no more sloping seascapes any more...

Thank you so much everyone - Alan, I always just take a quick photo on the I pad, it's often a bit distorted but that's me, I'm a bit slap happy. I didn't realise until now, that you can replace the photo without losing everything. That's one improvement to the site.

Another cracker to an already impressive gallery!

I do love a beach and hanker after living by the sea. This is a lovely view and is so beautifully painted.

Like this Marjorie it has a very fresh and open feel to it and it lovely .

Superb painting Marjorie! Those faraway waves are rolling in and the water is so beautifully painted. Well done!

Horizon looks fine to me Marjorie. Stop being "picky" I think this is a little masterpiece.

Beautiful colours Marjorie!

Gorgeous, Marjorie! I love everything about this - the palette, sky, reflections and waves. It is beautiful.

What a fantastic serene painting - your colour palette is perfect Marjorie

I love those wonderful, subtle hues in the foreground and the gorgeous blues of the sky, which give the painting a lovely sunny feel. A superb piece, Marjorie! Thank you too for your very kind comment on my painting. In answer to your question, it's a small piece, just 19cm by 28 cm.

Shimmering! Fantastic Marjorie.

I thought that this was in Pastel because of the lovely, soft tones that you have created Marjorie! A beautiful and serene scene.

Fabulous - so natural and peaceful.

I'm sorry I haven't thanked you all individually - I've left it too late tuning in again. But I'm overwhelmed by all your positive and lovely comments. Thank you all, very much.

Beautiful painting , lovely highlights on the water

I love this - the softness but with strength of shapes of grasses reflected in the clouds, just lovely. good to catch up with your work again

Quick oil, 12"x9", on gesso'd MDF, after a walk on the beach.
