"Lemons"

This was painted some years ago before I discovered pastels. I'm beginning to work with watercolours again and I'm trying to work more "loosely". What I find interesting is that although I may not have worked with a particular medium for some time, development in skills(!) seem to transfer to the new medium. But painting is all about "problem solving" and certainly not always a relaxing hobby. Does anyone agree with this?

My husband would agree wholeheartedly with your last statement, he knows to keep well out of the way when I'm painting ! He's threatened to make me a sign "quiet, rat -bag artist at work " An excellent watercolour, like the way you've depicted the lemons and the lace cloth.

Love this too. Bowl is super and the cloth is great!
