I was surprised to see this as I did not know you did abstract Marjorie. It looks super and the colours go so well together.

Love it!!!!!!! Not dull at all!

I like the geometrical shapes and the colours Marjorie.

I can’t remember seen any abstract work of yours before Marjorie. I like this and the fact that it was done freehand .

Abstracts are really hard I think so I don’t choose to do them. Yesterday I thought I’d have a go. I started off by looking at a part of one of my seascapes turned on its side ( the circle was the sun). After that I just tried to balance the colours and shapes. I like the right hand side best. Think I’ll try another - in different colours! Thanks for the nice comments .

Is this something new, Marjorie? Your technique looks great and makes you want to keep looking at it. I'm not really into abstract, but this really caught my eye.

Yes I agree absract is hard. I think your painting is great

I love this, Marjorie. Wow, what can I say, this a first for you. Fabulous shapes and colours, and done freehand too. I’d love to see more!

Not really, Ron. Every so often it crosses my mind to have a go…think I’ll persevere a bit. Ellen, thanks, that’s praise indeed from you.

I agree with you Marjorie, I think apart from portraiture…..which you are brilliant at……abstract art is the most difficult. Takes a lot of brain work even before you pick up a brush! Your shapes and proportions work really well, especially with your placement of colour choices. It has a wonderful geometric flow.

I like it - good colour combination.

Thanks Fiona and Linda. I’m thinking of something a bit different for the next one….

Wow that blue really pops the work

Thanks Rachel, it's King's blue, one of my favourites, with a touch of white added.

Thank you, Marjorie for that lovely comment, I’ll take it as a huge compliment.

Yes, Ellen, you should!😊

Wow, I really like this, what more can I say, as I agree with all the other comments Marjorie.

I'm amazed, Lesley....thank you.

Yes Marjorie great as always
