Such good skin tones and overall colour here Marjorie. A really good portrait!

Lovely attempt Margaret.

Great portrait, Marjorie.

Great description of the form too Marjorie a great study

Really like how you have described the contours of his face Marjorie with your brush marks and tones. I like the paper you're using, looks to be a good substitute for the texture of canvas.

Disposable palette and canvas paper, quite good for practising but not like the real thing. Thanks for the comments Louise, Henry,Cesare, Dennis and Fiona!

Great practice session Marjorie. You do not say what colours used.

Doing a good job of it Marjorie....

Colours - white, black, yellow ochre, cad red.

A lovely portrait Margaret, great tones

Sorry Marjorie, I made a mistake and called you Margaret. Many apologies

Some lovely brush work and style evident in this piece Marjorie.

Very well done Marjorie, he looks really good.

Great. It's fun limiting yourself to four colours isn't it? Proper canvas paper is archival so don't chuck it away.

I do like this Marjorie, such harmonious tones and a well caught expression.

Much appreciated everyone, Thankyou.

The skin tones are great Marjorie and so is his hair, he looks a little worried though.
