Ambleside Pier by Malcolm Davies GRA
A pen and wash sketch done in my travelling sketchbook. A wonderful building that just hit my parameters of 'loose with detail' Done 'en plein air' in two sittings as the first time it decided to rain on me, so I had to go back (oh what a shame!!) and finish it. In my A5 landscape 'seawhite' watercolour sketchbook using a double page spread. Drawn with my Kaweco Sport fountain pen with deAtramentis ink then painted using White Nights watercolours.
