A 1950's era scene of a 1400 class 0-6-0 steam locomotive (No 1445) which sits with a single carriage at Woofferton Junction station waiting to depart. A very typical quiet branch line scene, where the driver sits waiting to see if any passengers arrive. For any Film fans, if you have seen the 'Titfield Thunderbolt' it is one of this class of locomotives which stars, No 1401. This painting is watercolour and is around 30 x 22 cms in size.
