I’ve caught the trams there many a time when I was but a lad . Excellent painting and thanks for the trip down memory lane , what’s the fare these days Malcolm.

What an excellent painting

Very nostalgic painting. Excellent.

Fantastic, can't believe it's a watercolour

A piece that radiates nostalgia in the very best sense. Stunning work, with superb composition, palette and atmosphere.

This is so vibrant and real, brilliant.

A really good painting. Other than in museums I never saw similar trams but my Dad was running a similar car to the one you painted until 1968. In those days it wasn't a classic it was just an embarrasment!

Another in my tramway street scenes. This time it is a Leeds 'Chamberlain' tramcar on Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton. This scene has changed little from this view (Leeds closed in 1959) to today. No trams of course but the houses with shops below is still very similar. This one is another watercolour and is approx A3 in size.
