Sentinel at Shildon by Malcolm Davies GRA
A pen and watercolour sketch done 'en plein air' at the New Hall at Locomotion museum at shildon in Co Durham. This rather stylish looking shunting engine was built in 1959 and operated amongst other places at Seaham Harbour (near Sunderland) and at the Bass brewery at Burton on Trent. Overall image is A4 in size and painted on Bockingford 140lb NOT paper and using a mix of White Nights and Rosa watercolours.
