This is a 1940's St Louis PCC (President's Conference Committee) Streetcar. This car is slowly decaying in woodland in the mountains of Pennsylvania, USA. It has been here since the 1990's. The rust stained colours of the original paintwork and the disintegrating bodywork makes for a stunning visage, which I hope I have reflected in this painting. This streetcar has carried its last passenger, hence the title 'Last Stop' Based on a photograph by Michael Christopher (with permission)
