Very interesting line and wash.Like the figures and the various shapes created by wash on wash.

Where's the buggy and the traffic lights gone? lol Plenty of life in this one too Louise with the people and your expressive brush strokes. Great work.

Thanks David and Val. Val, I knew someone would notice..LOL

Expressive! - Thanks Val, that's the word I was searching for! Nice work Louise.

Agreed good work Louise, it is expressive as well and love your colours

Thank you Debs and Ros. I'm thinking that I should have drawn the foreground car first and how could I forget the traffic lights?..Time for a change of scene..!

Another lively manchester scene! the loose washes on the road work well.

Always so much to look at in your townscapes Louise!

Thanks Stephen and Satu, I appreciate the comments!

Another vibrant piece, so full of interesting detail, yet not overworked. Great work, Louise!

I really like the feeling that this scene is a brief snapshot in the life of the people crossing the street, the cars parked (who drove them there?) and the buildings (who decided to paint that one blue I wonder). It makes you see the dynamic life of a city or town in a new way. Clever stuff!

Thanks Seok and Thea!
