Hey!!! Louise!! That's Fab!! How many people would love that in their city apartment!!! :) angi x

I agree with Angi, this cityscape is great Louise

Yes I could live with it it's lovely, the thought crossed my mind though that if you do that to bollards to help the composition , life classes with you would be a hoot !! : )

Thanks Angi, Petra and William. William, I've just choked on my cup of tea! :)

Great panorama Louise. Oooh William, what fun!!

Great painting, Louise, I ove the black sky. Wonderful composition, well done!!!

You see how popular this series of paintings is, Louise. I hope youre considering giclee prints. There would clearly be a market.

Many thanks Carole, Mia and Harry. Harry, painting for me is really more of a hobby. I have sold works and exhibit in a Manchester gallery, but I'm hopeless at pushing my paintings. I supose that I don't have a commercial mind! If I had prints I wouldn't have a clue what to do with them! I do love painting though and I get alot of pleasure from it.

Very industrial feel to this painting, Louise - I don't know if that was what you intended. I like the contrast between of all the strong vertical lines and the perfectly round moon which has so much impact. Good choice of colours to convey the feeling of a bustling city.

Thanks Thea, "industrial feel" ? I like it ! As to the round moon, that's thanks to drawing round a bottle top and masking fluid ! .

I agree with Angi, I would like to move into one of the flats. :)

This is great for colour it reminds me of Graphic design I hope you don't mind my saying and it would make a great painting hung in a modern flat. Will ignore Williams naughty comments. The mind bogles !!!

watercolour 74 cm x 30 cm Another semi abstract from my collection. This is loosely based on some Manchester locks. The skyline is very exaggerated as are the colours! The two large columns on the left started life as small bollards but I felt that painting them this size added to the composition!
