Love this limited palette painting Louise, the two women in the foreground look like they're having a good gossip! I'm in the middle of doing a painting with two ladies in the foreground at the moment, in a completely different style to your lovely loose paintings though!

The word is nattering, not gossip Christone, but Louise has captured it as only she can do so professionally.

Wonderful flowing paint (you can only do this with watercolour!) and great limited palette pulls this vibrant sketch together. It is amazing because you don't define the features of the faces, but I can plainly 'see' what they look like and what their expressions are! Neat trick, eh?

Is this your blue period Louise? Very interesting scene as always.

I can be a little lazy at times Carole and have decided that I shouldn't rush quite so much and perhaps have some sort of plan when it comes to colours.. Here I just dipped in to the nearest colour, which happened to be blue. Thank you all, comments always appreciated especially such as these!
