tulip design idea

Is there a puppy lurking behind those tulips I wonder???!!! Really striking design - very Liberty in look and feel. This would be amazing wallpaper - a real wow wall. Another super painting from the Queen of Design.

Kirstie, look to your spelling of Louise .... not to worry; I once referred to a member of staff where I worked, whose name was Mary Woodhouse, as "Mary Woodlouse". She smiled frostily.... To the design - "We have put Sir George in the Tulip Room, Marm" - it would look fabulous as the wallpaper on perhaps one wall, set off by hangings, perhaps: you and I should go into house design. We'd make a mint, catering to the celebs...

Actually, I see now that Thea and Val would have to join us in this enterprise, as they made the comment before I did...

Louise, this is spectacular! You have a real talent for these designs. I just love the red tulips set amidst a backdrop of deep green foliage. You've chosen just the right shades without making this look like a Christmas napkin. This has to be one of my favorites from your collection, but of course, once I say that, you raise the bar again!
