Wonderful job Louise works perfectly

It's still a classic cityscape by Naimian and works well

I like this sort of abstract as it is based on reality.

Not 'Iffy' at all, exciting and expressive, I love it Louise, and those black skies really add something.

Thank you all, you're so kind but I'm really not sure! I'd planned blocks of colour and had the idea of using strips of masking tape and spraying with aerosol paint. After searching the garage, I could only find black and white spray paint, the grey I'd wanted to use had dried up... It was then sprayed at on the back lawn resulting in too much black which didn't want to be painted over, not with watercolour anyway. The whites are thick gouache. I perhaps should add, don't try this at home..LOL.. well, I tried!

Well ten out of ten for effort Louise and braving the cold to apply spray paint, it's worked brilliantly!

I agree, not iffy at all Louise. I like the textural effect you've got which I presume is the spray paint.

Well, thank you all for your surprisingly nice comments on this one which I'm not really thrilled with myself! I might try another tomorrow but without the spray paint. Quite a nice day here today Christine, the sun was shining!

Great painting Louise. Love the speckled effect on the sky and some of the rectangles - also love the vertical lines at the foot of the painting.
