Lovely composition and colours and a lovely picture, such a sunny day!! It would cheer anybody up!

Wow - you are branching out in all directions lately - can't keep up with the diversity of subjects. Well done you for being so versatile and doing it so brilliantly. Lovely unfussy and light filled painting. Strong shapes and excellent trees make for a beautifully described scene. I don't know much about Croatia, but if it looks like this then it is lovely.

I have to confess Thea that I also know nothing about Croatia! A travel picture in the paper caught my eye. I wouldn't normally copy published photos as I consider it to be cheating as someone else has decided the composition. Also, you can't sell work such as this due to copywrite. I enjoy painting in different styles now and again, it can be very relaxing! Those imaginary cottages can get a little boring!

A lovely up-lifting painting, I especially like the tree's and shore-line..........and best of all NO heather!!!!lol

Fiona, I think there is a bit on the distant hills! Croatia is well known for it's heather!!!!lol

Like this style, Louise, and the colours used have impact.

Louise, this is such a sunny and atmospheric painting, I just love it! I agree with Thea: you can paint anything you like, it is always super!

Thank you Mia, you forgot to add "except portraits of certain newly marrieds" !!

Very sunny and inviting looking place, love the loose touch with watercolour Louise.

Agree with Thea, this is very impressive. Anything you touch turns into a wonderful piece...very impressive..

I do admire your willingness to tackle anything, in completely different styles. Yes, let us draw a veil over certain newly marrieds - my effort isn't staying on the gallery long!

Love these sunny blocks of colour. You have put it together beautifully. PS. don't tell anyone cos I feel such a div, not read anywhere that Fi and Terry got wed! That's what all these portraits are about! Just read previous comment. Wondered what the interest was!! ROFL

pps. That's why Fiona pointed me in Terry's direction to buy his brushes at Patching's art Festival a few years back!!
