I do like to see your rigger work Louise and I also like the unusual view point of this one.

Great composition Louise

Ooh.....Like it , Louise. Your colours are appealing and as ever, an original take on the subject.

Very nice Louise, good perspective and great rigger work

Many thanks Kirstie, Fiona, Petra, Ruth and David. Your comments spur me on :) My plan was to try an abstract version of this scene but so far I've failed. I'm finding it hard to 'let go' and not follow the lines of those rooftops :)

Unusual birds eye view, makes me a bit giddy but works well.

Nice unusual perspective Louise

Lovely work towards abstract Louise

Thanks Stephen. It does look high up..I shall call it 'giddy heights' lol Thank you as well Holger. For some reason, I found all the unusual roof shapes quite fascinating to look at. This as part of the view from a Manchester restaurant. Very high up! I'm struggling with an abstract version Dennis although have a vague idea which isn't working. It's not easy to loose the shapes and colours and yet keep it vaguely reconisable. A true abstract is beyond me..can't seem to be able to do that!

Wow, Louise, again a great work.

The lengths ( or heights) we go to....and you must have an inbuilt grasp of perspective Louise.

Thanks Mia, Marjorie and Carole :)

I've got a terrible head for heights and looking down at these roof tops makes me feel quite queasy! You've got the perspective spot on Louise, this is an interesting painting. I like it.

Brill, Louise. Great composition.

Fascinating perspective that works really well. Literal cubism, those lines work for me.

Thanks Christine, Shirley and Andre, comments appreciated!

This is a beauty Louise, really loving this series.

Watercolour. 21 cm x 29 cm. This time I used a rigger brush for the outlines.
