I like this very much Louise - nice choice of colours. The image reminds me of the work of Michael Morgan who has several landscape paintings with a moon. Very nice.

Thanks Julie. My neighbour always jokes that I must have a 'moon stamp' as the moon features rather a lot in my paintings. It's an ongoing joke. Actually, I draw round a lipstick or blusher container and use masking fluid :)

Great vibrancy as always and great palette - I must try your method of drawing the moon but I don't use lipstick or blusher - well not often !!!!

Beautiful lush colours Louise, I like the texture in the foregound did you use cling film? How about 'Scarlet Ribbon' for a title.

Lovely vibrant painting Louise, can't help you with the title I am hopeless with that kind of thing.

Thanks Michael, Fiona and Glennis. Fiona, 'Scarlet Ribbon' is good. My mind goes blank when thinking of titles. When I suggest names to my family I'm met with howls of laughter which has rather knocked my confidence :) There are only so many names including the word 'moon' and I seem to have run out of those. (lol) Also Fiona, I used loads of cling film which I've just recently got the hang of. The secret is to let it dry before peeping to see if it worked.

Lovely work; I like it very much.

Love the splash of red, Scarlet Ribbon is a good title Fiona, does anyone remember the song by that name I wonder? Nice work Louise.

Love the richness of this painting, Louise. It's a super piece!

Beautiful painting Louise, great colours :)

Many thanks Avril, Debs, Seok and Petra.

Lovely cascade of colour and texture.Like the portrait format also.

Thanks David. 'Cascade'? perhaps another idea for a title here. I do like that word :)

Love the cling film and that rainbow of colour is great. Glad to see the moon stamp again.

I like the coloursand the rich textures Louise,

Many thanks Carole and William!

I missed this one being on holiday. Lovely painting - super dark and mysterious colours contrasting with the house glowing in the moonlight. The moon makes a real statement, as does the flowing red, which is why the title 'Hunter's Moon' comes to mind. You know me - I can't look at a painting without a title popping into my head!

Love the craggyness of the hillside and the striking colours used too :)

Many thanks Thea and Sarah.
