Another stunner, Louise! Love the return of the moon, and the flowers in the middle ground really add life and motion to the painting. It's really gorgeous!

Many thank Seok. That moon is never far away, infact my neighbour accuses me of having a 'moon stamp' which I deny :)

Another very stylish and individual painting, Louise. I knew as soon as I spotted it, it would be yours. Such gorgeous colours again, and the fact you were relaxed and not trying too hard really gives it a restful feel. The texturing with the clingfilm has worked wonderfully. You really have a knack of getting beautiful harmony with your colours.

Louise, I can't take my eyes off this painting!! Such fascinating contrasts and colours......spectacular!

Experimenting can give stunning results, Louise and this is one of those! Amazing work!

I think the experiment has really paid off as the textures in the painting are lovely and add such an interesting dimension. Your dark sky has returned with the lovely pale moon. I think this is a really interesting painting that demonstrates that you don't have to sweat over a work to produce stunning results. Another goodie!

Beautiful colours. A lovely piece you have created by experimenting.

Luv-er-ly. It should be in a book of fairy tales or something like that. I'm with Fiona, I can't take my eyes off it.

Thank you Ann, Fiona, Mia, Thea, Carole and Sarah for all your lovely comments which I do appreciate.

I think we all start to know this lovely fairy tale place with it's little houses and flower fields and the moon. There is no end to your imagination, the choice of colours and the different moods that they create. I simply love them all!

This is a complicated picture which I think works very well.It is very much in your way of working and Fits in brilliantly. What I find really good is the playful element you described which gives the shapes, textures and so on,a new sort of resonance.(hope that makes sense)

thanks Satu and David!

watercolour 20 cm x 20 cm. To be honest, I was messing around yesterday trying different techniques, pressing on bits of cling film and not worrying too much about the finished result. At one point, I thought that it was looking OK and I'm surprised now, as it didn't take very long, just how pleased I am with a painting that I gave so little thought too :)
