Brilliant simplification Louise

Feeling a bit blue sitting here in Split airport waiting for our delayed flight to Gatwick but it's helping to pass the time seeing the blue sketches that have been posted in the last few hours. This cityscape is super Louise, blue ladies next perhaps?

'Blue, blue my world is blue,'from the song Love is Blue [ can't remember who sang it though, hope you know the one I mean] popped into my head when I saw this Louise, great addition to the Blue Gallery!

Ooh you do like your blues Louise:) This is great too. My daughter has just bought a skirt very similar to this , the very same shades of blue. So fresh looking Your painting and the skirt!

I agree Louise, but we need these challenges to keep us on our toes! Anyway that's a real good effort, top job.

Super cityscape Louise! It also makes a great pattern on it's own. Life was easier before but much duller.

Louise, life was much easier and much warmer......I've taken one of my vests off because I thought summer was here, and I've just been stood in the garden painting blue poppies!!! I'm very near hyperthermic, and I failed, 5mins 52secs...drat!Lol Yours, by the way, is full and dynamic.....well met!

Opps...that should be Hyp-o-thermic, I'll put that typo down to shivering.Lol.

Thank you Dennis, Christine, Debs, Carole, Alan, Satu and Fiona for appreciating the skill here (NOT) . I know I wouldn't paint nearly so much though if it wasn't for the site. I certainly I wouldn't tackle 5 minute bluey ones. Sorry Fiona, 52 seconds over the time limit just isn't good enough..LOL. You'll be home soon Christine, blue with cold the way that the weather's deteriorated here

Super and exciting blue painting - very dynamic (I always say that about your work, but I really mean it). Great casual informality, which is hard to pull off, but then you are superb at this type of work. (P.S. Are the challenges getting too compelling then? I know I find them so and have to have a go and I know I that you can't resist either. Still, they keep us on our toes, don't they?)

Blues usually express depression and pain but this is uplifting, well done.

Another brilliant contender for the blue challenge Louise and in only five minutes too.

You are so clever, Louise. Great lines and shapes - and blues ! Inspiring me to be blue too.
