Columna I

Love the splashes of blue and pink in this one.

You've drawn these very well Lionel. You could be a column designer! Of the two, this one is my favourite because of the addition of blue. Both are interesting and sit well within the frame. This one especially and I'm wondering whether it's because I'm right handed, I like the curved pillar shapes/detail placed on the left side. Might be that?

Thank you Thea, Louise and Carole. As usual comments from your good-selves are always very much appreciated. I think you are correct, Louise. I, too, am right handed and this one was much easier to draw than the other and, indeed, was drawn first. I had never "splattered" before and now realise that it could have been much better done. Never mind - onward and upward!

Both pieces are really beautiful, Lionel. I love the splashes of cool colors against the warm tones of the columns.
