Tree Trunks Part Two

The problem with the first one was that some of the boughs seemed thicker at the top than at the bottom, as I remember, and you've completely corrected that, while keeping the very attractive colour of your first painting; and you've not worked it to death, so I should call that a result! I should certainly be pleased to have painted it.

Thank you, Robert and Carole for your comments. You are correct about the top-heavy thickness of the trees, Robert. In all honesty I am quite pleased with the end result and for the constructive criticism that helped me to achieve it. I will continue to view both your galleries with envy!

I had already seen this picture of yours as it was recommended by another POL user as an excellent piece of work to view.. My challengeis satify my biggest art critic, my wife, with something at least half as good as your stunning piece!
