Challenge well met Lionel! The challenge of using a different medium and to take on one of Alan's demo's. Lots of depth and I love the highlights on the distant lefthand trees, as if the sun is catching them. It's a lovely painting.

Thank you Jenny and Fiona. Much appreciated. Forgot to mention, it's about 10 X 12 inches on SAA Practice Paper 300 gsm ROUGH. (What are you two ladies doing up at this time of night?! lol ).

Alan's Country Lane challenge. I know it doesn't look like Alan's painting but I am telling myself that the real challenge, (for me, at least), was to get something done in watercolours - using Alan's composition and attempting to attain his colours. I am not at all sure that this is for me. I am going to try ink and wash again. To all of you who were kind enough to comment on my other postings - thank you so very much.
