You are prodigious in your excellent output!

Wonderful drawing skills, Lewis - my favourite is the musician!

Three excellent characters, four excellent sketched figures Lew . I prefer the blue Santa he looks more worn out . I do really like the bookworms a superb character that could be developed in many ways .

Your use of water soluble pencils is excellent Lew. Great character studies.

More Monday morning cheer from Lew. What better way to start the week?

Every character is unique and your facial expressions are magical.

Another great group of characters from your inexhaustible imagination. The bookworm especially is just fantastic Lewis.

Excellent work as usual Lewis. I once went mad while visiting the pencil factory in Keswick and bought a large wooden box set of Derwent watercolour pencils. It was expensive but a beautiful set which my granddaughter later claimed from me.

At last! A left handed banjo player! Wonderful drawings Lew.

Thanks for your great comments. Very much appreciated. A good point Mark, I don't think about left-hand or right when I'm drawing these, I just go for whatever pose, and hand, that appeals to me.

Every one a winner for me, Lewis!

All great drawings but love the banjo player!

Fantastic characters but the banjo player is my favourite Lewis.

They all remind me of him indoors! Though he is not one for the garish attire of the banjo player. Beautiful drawings Lewis!

Simply wonderful Lewis.😊

Great work Lewis. I love using water soluble crayons as well - they are so useful.

Excellent characters Lewis.

They're great - full of character and fun!

The two blue drawings are in water-soluble coloured pencil used wet and dry, the banjo player is pen and watercolour. I like to draw something everyday, when time is limited I do these character drawings.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
