All are superb sketches Lew , my favourite is the steampunk one.

Some lovely characters Lewis. Nice work.

You have such imagination for different characters and illustrate them with great humour. Love the swimmer on the diving board.

So enjoyable as always - I love the diving character

Your imagination is endless Lew, fabulous characters.

Great job Lewis, fantastic characters and well painted.

How wonderful, to have eyes that can rotate. Not sure that the trunks will be so useful. I wonder what is underneath the diving board? I was surprised that that the pig is not in a blanket, but pleased to see a curly tail. Is that a powered bagpipe pushing your explorer forward? Brilliant combination!

Thanks very much for your comments. Always valued. It's not bagpipes powering the explorer Linda...but that's a really good idea. Wish I'd thought of it.

Fabulous work Lewis, the 'Steampunk' is brilliant!

What a great selection Lewis. Love that diver.

Incredible imagination Lew and terrific cartooning.

Wonderfully drawn and painted, and such amusing characters. I love the look on the upside down diver. Keep them coming please.

The man on the diving board really brings home just how much imagination there is behind your wonderful characters.

Thanks again for looking and your comments. I can't seem to get out of my sketchbooks at the moment. They seem to require less fuss than a 'proper' picture. The diving board was done because I like some surreal ideas. The one I like best is the man carrying the pig. Don't know where that came from...the pig isn't cooked, so he's not bringing in dinner.

Smashing characters Lewis.

A joy to behold as always Lewis.

More great sketches, Lewis, love the pig!

These are excellent, Lewis. I really like how every character has their own singular expression and personality. Really stunning work.

Just playing around, trying different things, but it all seems to end up the same. The bottom right pic is supposed to be a Steampunk Explorer. His transport is steam-powered. I suppose I should have looked at some steam engines to get it right, but when I'm in 'doodling mode' I can't be bothered. A mix of w/clr, clr/pencil, gouache and pen.
