Love it - brilliant!

Excellent love the humour, superb artwork as always Lew.

Thank you Peter, Neil and Dixie. As usual a bit of nonsense. I was wondering what would wake up these dour group portraits.

Always so funny (and I agree with you about so many of those Dutch portraits)

Magical as ever Lew. You're just the king of expressionism. The two on the right must be single.....(-:

Very funny Lewis. Great artwork.

Brilliant. Brightened up my day.

Ha ha! I’ll never look at a woman in a mac the same way again!

This is brilliant Lewis. The looks on the faces in the painting are wonderful - they go from shock, horror to disgust! Great work!

My ribs well and truly tickled Lewis - brilliant!

Fantastic drawing and idea.

So funny and clever, Lewis - made me laugh!

I would like to say how tickled I am….

Thanks everybody, for your wonderfully encouraging feedback.

Made my day- superb!!🤣🤣

Well, that showed them didn't it.! Brilliant artwork to match your humour Lewis.

So so funny Lewis.

Haha brilliant 👏

Wonderful. Really made me smile. Thanks Lew.

This isn't interactive art, just my take on it. The painting is based on Jan De Bray's 'Guild of Saint Luke' 1675. Hardly a copy since it's cartoonish and I've changed things. There are lots of these Dutch paintings, always very well painted, but dull as ditchwater and of pompous self-inportant people. Watercolour, coloured pencil and pen.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
