Joy.....specially like the knotted hanky.

So true , I lived in Cyprus in the early 60s it didn’t rain for over a year everyone went mad when it did and were dancing in the road. Brilliant artwork Lew.

Wonderful work Lewis.

Love the abandonment of inhibitions Lewis. That nose is something and love his headrests.

Marvellous expressions.

More great characters, love the chap with his red nose and knotted hanky.

Very believable, Lew, and those expressions are right out of the top drawer. Amusing scene with superb characterization, as always. Bri

Bliss!! That poor guy with his very red nose...

Brilliant Lewis, that little splash on the lady's forehead, wonderful!

Thanks to everybody for your great responsonse. The way things are, I'll be wearing a knotted handkerchief soon.

Haha love it 😀 great artwork 🎨

Great artwork and so true. I’m tempted to put my feet under the fountain in our garden pond but don’t really want to share it with all the frogs that are sunbathing! Great characters!

Wonderful artwork, Lewis!!

Wonderful, Lewis! (When I went to Cyprus it snowed! The locals were astounded!)

Brilliant, great figures and I love the rain shower.

You’ve really captured great expressions- think we’ll all have red noses this week.

Lovely - as always Lewis.

Reminds me of Beryl Cooks work! Gorgeous

Thought for a moment they might be singing 🎶It's raining men🎶 Fabulous characters Lewis as always.

Thanks again to everyone for your encouraging feedback. I love Beryl Cook's work Rachel, but beyond the fact I use cartoon figures, I don't see a likeness to the great Beryl's work. But thanks anyway.

Looking at my baking garden thinking if only it would rain I'll be out there in a flash. Mixed media.
