All are great characters Lew and done in your excellent style.

Marvellous characters.

Hey. Great work Lewis. Lovely work 👏

All 4 are great and glad to see you back.

A characterful bunch Lewis.

Fantastic characters Lewis. A story behind all of them.

Thanks everybody for your kind comments.

One can almost see a story unfolding....The Prussian and the Colonel. Great characters, good to see you back in action.

Very clever Lewis! I like your family traits, the similarity, between the older and younger generations. I also particularly like the bottom right glove. Wonderful characters as usual! Thank you.

Fabulous Lewis

Good to see you back again , Lewis

Pleased to see you back Lewis, brightening up a dull day ! Especially like the top left Prussian !

I'd be most wary of number four. What a dragon..(-:

Ah, back at last, I was beginning to feel a little concerned Lewis. Great characters and beautifully drawn as always.

Great characters Lewis, bottom left reminds me of an sctor but I can't remember his name.

Thanks again for having a look and your generous comments. Val, the figure bottom left is not based on anyone. I made them up. But I suppose the laws of average will make them look like someone.

Ooh ‘eck what dodgy lot, would not like to be in that family! Very well illustrated Lew, always lifts the spirits 😂

There's definitely a family resrmblance! Absolutely superb work, Lewis!

Done nothing for weeks. Top left- gouache. Top right-coloured pencil. Bottom left-pen & watercolour. Bottom right- a 'bark' inktense mono drawing finished with pen and watercolour. But they all look pretty much the same. Think I prefer just pen and watercolour...the young woman is the weakest pic. (Decided to add colour backgrounds in photoshop when compiling pics.)

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
