All so true Lewis! Maybe it’s an example of ‘if you can, do, and if you can’t, criticise!’

Is this painting for sale? It’s wonderful …and once again we have a clear and simplified critique for everyone interested in art.

Wonderful comment & drawing.

Spot on description of the wonderful painting , I understood all of it, NOT. The critiques I name is so good and once again excellent artwork.

Your drawings are always lovely Lewis...appreciate the critique...spot on.

Spot on critique! He does look hungry! National Geographic seem to like pictures of poor and hungry people, so you have hit nail on head!

Superb debunking! Though the critic has failed to notice the influence of the Dilly-Dali school.

Hilarious Lewis, lovely artwork.

Fabulous on all counts (even the typo!)

Wonderful Lewis! The face of the sanctimonious, smug, pretentious art critic perfectly captured.

Thanks for all your comments fellow suffers...although I must admit a guilty secret, I like reading all the tosh they write.

Haha awesome work. Works well lovely piece of art 🎨

I can only echo the other commentators, Lewis. A wonderful example of pretentious nonsense. Put a big smile on my face, I can tell ya.

Brilliant description of "arty bollocks" Roberts phraseology not mine . As usual you make me laugh. Thankyou.

Made me laugh, good one Lewis.

As an artist who has had my share of "Critics", this hits Home. On Point! As always, your work is engaging, and fun.

Good one Lewis!

Love it, arty gobble de gook.

Wonderful, Lewis - thanks for the smiles!

You've just hit the nail right on the head, Lewis, and I just love that expression of elevated condescension! Excellent work!

On the forum recently there was some chat about the clap-trap that critics say about art, Micheal came up with some crackers. I couldn't resist having a go myself. The key thing seems to be not to make sense. Drawings assembled in photoshop, the painting being reviewed is one of my old paintings that I tortured in photoshop. (Why is it you never notice typos until you POST the picture...it's 'yearning for junk food.') Perhaps we should make our comments like this? No? Please yourself.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
