Perfect as is Lewis, don't torture yourself!

For me personally, I like this approach Lew! It’s so good…

Lew it’s fine mate , I like the figures and that it’s mono it gives it character.

I like the fading out of the background figures Lew. The fact that you analyse your work so means I think, that the brain is still ticking over and you are always working out how you can do differently and/or better. Hope that makes sense!

You may not like them Lew, but we do.

I really like this Lewis! We are all our own worst critics.

This is superb Lew , the characters are excellent 👌

I like this just as it is, an attractive style.

You have portrayed the essence of this lively place Lewis. Great job.

It's a terrific drawing Lewis. I wish I had the ability to draw something either 'more cartoony or realistic,' you have too much talent that's your problem Lewis!

Thanks for your comments. Always valued.

It’s perfect.

Beautifully drawn and a great atmosphere, Lewis!

Fantastic, distant crowd capture Lew. Love it.

It's a brilliantly designed Piece of drawing Lewis.

Another cracker, that lady dancer is really going for it!

Love it! stunning work Lewis

Thanks again for your encouraging comments.

I think it’s absolutely wonderful as it is Lewis. It is so reminiscent of the age.

I'd been looking at Lautrec's work, and thought I'd do this. Now I wish I'd drawn it more cartoony than it is OR more realistic. There's always something I wish I'd done differently. A mix of coloured pencils...water soluble and not soluble...dark indigo. 16 x 12 inch cartridge paper.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
