Fascinating and thoughtful images Skylar. I have seen African versions also. I guess most artists view him in their own racial type.

Blame Hollywood film producers for the desire to make Jesus look like a western film star, Skylar. As you say, he was born a Jew and died at thirty three. The rest is pure hyperbole for, what he actually looked like, no one knows. One day, we will, God willing.

A good comparison of cultural beliefs regarding race. The thing is we will never know and therefore portray Christ through what our beliefs and culture leads us to.

This is really thought provoking Skylar I think most people see him as if he was of there own ethnicity. I never really though of Jesus been white British given thst he was born in the Middle East .
