Michael - Thanks so much for your comments! Your noticing the muted greens was a bonus for me.

I really like this, Skylar. Makes you think 'what's happening?' Always a good thing in a painting (for me, anyway.) I like the notion that you say it 'evolved.' An intriguing piece of work. Great use of colour.

Excellent thought provoking painting.

It's a lovely piece of work Skylar.

Wow, Skylar - I love that painting. The image of the man in the foreground finishes the painting off so well. Like your name on the fence post!!

Brill, of course, Skylar. Your skill is wonderful.

Really excellent Skylar. Lovely greens.

Lovely painting and gets you thinking

A brilliant painting once again Skylar, the old guy look like he’s had a tuff old life . It amazes me how we start out and from nowhere a change come and we end up with a different painting to the on in mind originally, and for the better.

Lovely painting Skylar - it really tells a story and the details in the hands are excellent.

Nice work and figure study Skylar. Great to see the evolve factor.

Perspective is stunningly good. Love the man in the foreground. Brilliant piece Skylar

Lewis - Thanks so much! Often, when I start a piece, I have already done a complete sketch. With this one, I had a half-done bkg. When I came back to it, The setting started dictating the finish. I love when a piece finishes itself.

Thank you, Stephen!

Denise - Thank you very much!

David - Thanks! I guess I was being a little "cute" with the signature.

Shirley - Thank you so much! I often doubt my "skill", even after painting all my life.

David - Thank you! The greens were one thing I consciously toned down. To fit the over-all character.

Faye - Thank you! I'm glad you see a bit of thought-provoking.

Paul - Thanks! Yes, often with me, that midpoint in a painting quite often takes over.

Shaun - Thank you! Hands and feet are usually a focus of mine.

Jim - Thank you! Often, a painting reveals new "slants" as it is painted.

Claire - Thank you so very much! I do like to paint "depth" in a piece.

Great work, Skylar!

Thanks so much, Cesare!

Thank you so much, Maureen! This was such fun to paint.
