Love your execution of composition.

the owners will be very pleased with this, it is really excellent :-)

Lovely portrait and I am sure they will be delighted with it.

Fantastic - full of life and character and done with you usual skill with watercolour.

This is absolutely superb, Kim! Lively, spontaneous and sunlit - it's such an excellent piece!

I agree with all of the above, a fabulous portrait.

I struggle with animals. In the sense that I try hard not to anthropomorphosise - I hate cute doggy paintings with human features. On the other hand what distinguishes us from our fellow creatures is our ability to empathise, so it's a bit of a Catch-22 situation. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with this, even though it loses some of its immediacy in the transition to online. Thanks for looking an appreciating.

Zizzi's owners will have loved this Kim, what a joy! And you say above that you struggle with animals, let me tell you that you do NOT struggle with them, in these brush strokes you have captured the essence of Zizzi and his unconditional love for his owners which is there clearly in his eyes, that is the joy of dogs, they have very expressive eyes and Zizzi definately has twinkling loving eyes here, you have shown his colour and his coat so well and the blue you have used sets off the painting so well, now, don't be silly thinking you ca't paint animals, and do dome more!

Who needs a pedigree when you can be "Zizzi"? A commission from very affectionate owners (I hope they'll be pleased).
