Very good Kim you have a lovely free and easy style that you seem to be able to transfer to any subject matter

wonderful painting..........

Spot on - once again ! The feeling of speed and just one touch of red...... love it.

Cracking picture.

Superb Kim!!

I like trains and I like the way you have painted this one.

really masterfully painted - not really my subject matter but your rendition of it really drew my attention.

The subject matter's a bit outside my comfort zone too Michael: this was a request/challenge by my brother - and I'm grateful to him for it. Thanks for looking, not least those of you who were brave enough to click on something that wasn't really your cup of tea. By the way, it's just Indigo and Paynes, with a spot of, uhhhhh, Cad.Red!

Fantastic, Kim. Your work is just getting better and better. Not one of your normal subjects I feel but goodness me, haven't you pulled it off with style! Thank you for all your support in 2012 and wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year.

Kim, I really like this and your other work. Thanks for the comments on my painting (Bosham Harbour). I take your point about freshness - and fiddling. Guilty I'm afraid, however I usually work a couple of hours or less at a time - the time I have put is the overall time. I probably spend too much time sketching before I begin painting and need to simplify the subject. Anyway, thanks a lot and Happy Christmas! Anthony

It's my cup of tea having gone through your excellent portfolio Kim. Lovely handling of waterolour especially on this sort of subject.

Here's the Tornado pulling the up Talisman on her maiden trip in February 2008 from a photo taken by my brother. Just "Steam and Speed" - without the "Rain".
