Autumn Fruits

Comments

This looks really beautiful.

Well it’s all balanced nicely Katy, both composition and colour. Fine job I’d say!

I really like this Katy, soft and blurred edges, very effective

Looks good to me Katy. The only thing i might try is to bring in a little of the yellow you used top right, starting in the bottom left corner dabbing around the purple fruits. i would`t do too much. It should make those fruits sing out as they are opposite on the colour wheel i.e as your reds do against the greens.

This has a colourful freshness about it with a nice flow Katy.

So colourful, Katy. Beautiful subject!

Thank you all for you feedback, I really enjoyed painting this. I might do as you suggest David.

I agree with previous comments Katy, a lovely collection of autumnal fruits.

I believe a painting that grows on you the more you look at it is a sign of a good piece of work (that’s what my parents used to tell me when I had a teenage fling with oils before ditching art for science). I like this.

Thank you Fiona and Jaqueline for your appreciation.

A lovely colourful piece of work that fits in with the October challenge perfectly!!

Thank you Linda.
