Fiona is right he is a handsome fella and also the term feathers. I find horses hard to do but he looks fine and he is looking around to see what might be going on. A really good pose and well painted picture

Thank you for the lovely comments, and I shall tell my friend how handsome you all think he is. Bless him, he is old and retired with a large arthritic knee, just hidden by his head. He was field mate to my old boy, and now to my new pony.
