Certainly isn't boring me, it's fascinating. I know how difficult it is to photograph stages like this, because I tried it .... so far, I've managed to get two photographs: then got immersed in the painting and just forgot. This is coming along very nicely indeed.

A great finish to your series, enjoyed looking at them.

Beautiful. You have captured the outdoor elements. I like your subtle Images and tones, but there is a boldness to to the over all painting.

This has developed really well.. like the recession and sense of space in the overall image.

Thanks everyone for the supportive comments. Still not quite finished, just some detailing to add, and then I'll be able to post it in its finished form. If the Christmas rush doesn't get in my way! John

I did the same 'forgetting' to photograph... The picture is now in the possession of a relative... Solved the problem of a birthday present! So I am sorry I can't show the finished picture as yet. Thanks for the interest folks. John

The third stage.. Some detail added and more work done on the dunes and background mountains. I hope this isn't boring anyone, but I wanted to see if I had the discipline to see through a 'stage by stage' posting of WIP. Thanks folks.
