Very atmospheric John. It has a lovely misty softness to it.

Hi John, i really like how you have a lovely blend of colours that flow into each other, and achieve a gentle and soft, yet effective result.

Very nice work John, good use of wet in wet technique, which (as I know only too well), is not easy.

Wow - this is really good, love the colours and it certainly stands out in the gallery

Yes, I like this John, the paper gives a lovely texture too. Great washes and blending also love the trees!

Beautiful soft colours and the sky is just great with the wet in wet.

Great use of wet in wet resulting in a lovely "soft focus" watercolour.

Beautiful wet in wet washes John, gives the whole painting a super atmospheric effect.

Thanks for the positive comments my friends. I've been 'haunting' Sutton Park lately in an effort to get fit again after the knee surgery. I have managed to get some nice sketches and, dare I say it; photographs! Thanks again John

Autumn in Sutton Park (Warks.) A small watercolour. 20cm x 15cm approx. I usually work half or quarter Imperial, with the occasional sally into full sheet. This little watercolour , on Arches 130lb. rough is about as small as I like to go, for painting, other than a sketch. I liked this one myself. I don't know why. I hope you like it too. regards John
