Across The Lake
Watercolour W&N colours. Approx 12" x 7.5". Painted from a sketch made in Oxfordshire. Exact location unknown, but would have been close to Woodstock, Churchill's birthplace. Probably the scene looks nothing like this image now, but that's the problem with sketches; things change. Anyway, someone liked it and it went into a private collection from an exhibition.
