Thank you. I started it with a 2B pencil, then used a fineliner pen, the brush pen and finally added some pencil crayon. At the end of the day, it was a quick impression of what I could see. Then enjoyed the show before doing a few more sketches between performances. Glad I put my pens/pencils in a clear pencil case as the airport style security were certainly intrigued by the contents of my bag that could be no bigger than A4.

It’s all about the view and my daughter and I certainly got that with our seats at the Platinum Party at the Palace last weekend. Here is my pen & pencil crayon sketch of the event as Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor, performing with Adam Lambert, belted out “We Will Rock You”. I would have loved to have taken watercolours or oils, but due to security restrictions, a few pens and pencils were all I could take in my tiny bag.
