A great little small one!

It’s a beauty Jenny , beautifully done.

Delightful Jenny, composed and painted with your great style

Great action in this Jenny. Love it.

Beautiful picture Jenny.

Super Jenny, you’ve got a good thing going with this style

Yesterday I witnessed a flotilla of Pacific white sided dolphins moving northward leaving swells in their wake. Your painting brought the beauty of marine life to mind

Lovely work , so simple but so effective.

Lovely Jenny

Simple but lovely Jenny. I really like the way your penguins are launching! Spot on.

Adore the simplicity, grace and outstandingly, beautiful, design of this scene Jenny.

This is beautifully simple, but I know how hard that is, not simple at all.

Delightful painting, love the way you have done waves

Thank you so much for the very kind comments! I actually wasn’t expecting much response to this one as it’s such a simple little painting, although I think the waves give it a bit of interest - I couldn’t get the foreground colour right and ended up giving it a thick coat of gesso and creating the textured waves with a small stiff brush before adding the paint.

Like it ✔️ ✨️

Thanks, Martin!

It may be simple but it is very impactful Jenny and a great interpretation of the theme Spring Forward. Love it!

Many thanks, Christine!

Your painting has covered the brief perfectly Jenny. It may be “simple” but it has a powerful massage.

Thanks, Fiona! (I wondered if you’d recall a similar one I did for one of Dawn’s monthly challenges, although it was quite some time ago - you had suggested a rather amusing title for it.)

I can’t remember the title Jenny, it was probably something silly, knowing me!

It was something like ‘woohoo, last one in is a sissy! which I thought was very amusing!

Yes, I remember now…..it made me smile as I read your answer!

My small envelope sized painting donated to the National Brain’s A Letter in Mind appeal. The theme this year was Spring Forward. Gesso and watercolour.
