The flowers in the foreground are collage and not painted!

Love the colours in this, Jenny

It looks delightful Jenny!

Thanks, Thalia! I do tend to stick to my favourite three colours (Quinacridone Burnt Orange, Green Gold and Permanent Rose) most of the time, despite always intending to use some of the other interesting colours I've acquired but have never got round to trying!

Many thanks, Margaret!

Super stylish, Jenny. The collage flowers do work, but it's your landscape that's the bee's knees.

Thanks, Lewis, don't think I've had a painting compared to the bee's knees before! I added the collage because I thought the foreground looked a bit bland, and I'm not very good at painting flowers.

Your work always makes me smile Jenny. Scenes like this especially because it’s a happy place, in a happy world.

Thanks Fiona, what a lovely comment. I always fret that my work is rather unsophisticated, but maybe it's just my form of escapism, subconsciously trying to recreate the carefree childhood days spent roaming the woods and fields near my home!

Great style of painting, and good colours.

Many thanks for your comment, Richard, much appreciated.
