Beautifully painted

Terrific again.

Beautiful painting and interesting to read how you achieved it.

Beautifully painted the detailing of the fur is superb, but fir me the eyes are the best , so alive looking they are stunning.

The third stunner!!!! Superb!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has left me such wonderful comments below...I'm so sorry I don't know how to reply to them individually on here (any suggestions on how to do this would be very much appreciated). Janine x

Hang on Studio Wall

Hares are a rare but beautiful sight in our great British countryside and are distinguishable from rabbits by their longer ears and legs. Thisl artwork was created in three stages: firstly water-soluble pencils are applied to provide the 'under-painting' of the subject, this base is then built-up with many layers of coloured pencils. Finally, pastels are used to form the background which gives a matt appearance, making the main-subject stand-out due to the shiny surface of the coloured pencils.
