Continuing my Beatles lyrics theme. ‘ Here comes the Sun’ started as a watercolour, then I added acrylic and then pen and ink but wasn’t happy with my painting as I added each new media. The thoughts behind the painting are that I was inspired by ‘The Great Wave’ by Hokusai and the thought of Japan being the land of the rising sun. I then decided to digitise my painting and turn sections into abstractions. What had caused my dilemma? I found I’d used the wrong type of paper!
