Terrific impression of a cold winters day.

Very good, sure looks cold.

Beautiful, you have managed to capture both light and coldness so well.

Well you have achieved your aim , it definitely has that cold winters day to it .

Fabulous - on a roll today!

You can definitely feel the cold from your painting. A good one.

I can almost feel the cold!

Excellent indeed! I can feel the cold! I can imagine that snow crunching underfoot. The light is superb as are the details of the trees and bullrushes etc.

Absolutely lovely.

Crystal clear atmosphere, beautiful.

I love this Keith. You have captured both the light and the cold.

Wonderfully cold with a lovely colourful sky - so beautiful!

There is a beautiful purity to this work, Keith. The blue tone to all the cold areas, contrasting with the warm tones to the sky and trees and reeds etc., makes it quite a magical effect. Lovely.

This watercolour was painted from a photo taken on a bitterly cold walk along the Lancaster Canal near Farleton. I have tried to capture the clarity of the winter light and the intense cold.
