Beautifully painted, Hilary - love the delicacy. Well done with the "struggle!" btw - I recognised it as we used to walk there.

Watercolour on Millford paper, painted in a plein air competition - in the wind and rain - at Pittville Park, Cheltenham, yesterday. It was awarded a Highly Commended (by wtscollective), it's given me such a boost - plein air watercolour can be a bit of a struggle at times!

Many moons ago I completed an Art Foundation, and have attended art classes and workshops along the way, but basically I'm self-taught. I prefer to work in watercolour - I enjoy being expressive with colour and line, and experimenting with mixed media.
