Well I’m more than impressed with this Hilary! A great style and I also like phthalo blue in moderation.

Lovely experiment Hilary, it's a tricky colour to use I've found but you've used it really well

A really good experiment Hilary, it's worked out well.

Lovely. Great experiment 👍

Wonderful light & colour.

This has worked really well Hilary. Phthalo blue is a primary blue and can be difficult to use. I sometimes use it weakly as a glaze to send things back in a landscape or to add a touch of coldness. I also add a touch of Aliz Crimson to it when adding to a sky as it tones it down. It is also a staining colour!!!!

It has worked out very well. lovely painting Hilary.

That’s pretty special Hilary, love it.

A watercolour experiment trying out Phthalo Blue, also with Ultramarine Violet and an Inktense pencil in Peacock Blue - on Hahnemuhle paper. The blue is very intense, but I do like to paint with strong colour impact.
